Application Checklist

This checklist is for the Capital Experience, Embassy Scholars, and Go Green! programs.
Please submit the following items to WII:
• Online application (select "Apply Online" button)
• Two professional recommendations. At least one recommendation must be from a professor or administrator on campus, and the other may be from an employer. We accept letters of recommendation on letterhead with the writer’s signature or the WII Recommendation Form which is posted below. Recommendations may be submitted:

"[Student’s Last Name]” as the subject line
Or
Via mail: Washington Internship Institute

• Official transcript(s) of all college work mailed to WII
• A $50 non-refundable application fee (check or money order made payable to “Washington Internship Institute” or pay online)
• A copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) if you are applying for a need-based WII scholarship |

You may apply online or print and mail your application.
Note: WII has a special set of application materials for international students, i.e. students who attend a college or university outside the U.S. and thus require WII’s assistance to obtain a visa. International students are encouraged to contact WII at info@wiidc.org.
